## How the setup runs, start to finish

Typical turnaround is three to five working days from access, plus however long Google takes to verify.

Google itself charges nothing for a profile — you are paying for the build, the services and product listings, the media work and the written handover, not for access.

## Is a Google Business Profile free?

Yes. Creating and verifying a profile costs nothing. What costs you is an unverified, half-filled or duplicated listing: no service list, a wrong category, no photos and no review link is the usual reason a business is invisible in the map results while a smaller competitor is not.

## What if Google does not suggest my service?

This is the single most common gap we fix. Google suggests a short list of generic services per category and stops. We add custom services by hand — typed exactly as your customers describe them — and write a 300-character description for each one, so a profile that Google would have shown as 'contractor' instead lists every job you actually take.

## How long does verification take in Ireland?

Video verification is usually decided in one to five working days. Postcard verification to an Irish address typically takes ten to fourteen days, and occasionally has to be requested twice. We build everything else while verification is pending, so the profile goes live complete on the day it clears rather than empty.

## Can you fix a profile that is suspended or duplicated?

Duplicates we merge or suppress as part of the standard job. A suspension is handled case by case: we review the cause, prepare the reinstatement request and submit it, but Google makes the decision and no honest supplier can promise the outcome. If your profile is currently suspended, say so before you book.

## Do you work with UK businesses as well as Irish ones?

Yes. The work is identical either side of the Irish Sea — the differences are verification address handling, postcode-based service areas in the UK versus county and Eircode-based areas in Ireland, and which directories matter for consistency. UK searches lean towards map ranking and optimisation, Irish searches towards setup, so the profile emphasis differs slightly.

## Will this get me to the top of Google Maps?

No supplier can guarantee a map ranking, and we will not pretend otherwise. What a complete profile does is make you eligible for searches you are currently excluded from, and more convincing than the listing beside you. Distance from the searcher, review volume and how long the profile has existed are all factors we cannot buy or shortcut.
