# Acceptable Use Policy — Digital Bridge

## Answer summary

What you may and may not do with our services and hosted sites. This policy applies to all Digital Bridge services and is governed by Irish law. What you may and may not do with our services and hosted sites. Digital Bridge is an Irish web design and AI integration studio based in Gorey, Co. Wexford.

## Prohibited content and activities

- Unlawful, defamatory, harassing or threatening material.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other IP rights.
- Child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance, reported immediately.
- Malware, phishing, spyware or other malicious code.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email or scraping in violation of third-party terms.
- Adult content where prohibited by hosting providers we use.
- Gambling or financial services operating without a required licence.

## Security and integrity

- No attempts to breach security or access unauthorised data.
- No use of services to launch denial-of-service or other attacks.
- No reverse-engineering or attempts to extract source code we have not provided.

## Resource use

Hosting and automation plans assume reasonable, business-appropriate use. Sustained abnormal load may require an upgrade or be throttled.

## AI / automation usage

AI agents and automations we build for you must not be used to generate misleading, deceptive or unlawful content, impersonate individuals without consent, or evade third-party platform terms of service.

## Conduct towards our team

Acceptable use also covers how you communicate with us. Shouting, verbal abuse, threats (including threats to our reputation), harassment, discriminatory remarks and repeated direct contact with individual team members after we have named a point of contact are all prohibited. We may end any interaction that becomes abusive, move the account to written communication only, and suspend or terminate services. See section 13a of our Terms & Conditions.

## Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate services that breach this policy, with or without notice depending on severity. Where required we will cooperate with An Garda Síochána and other lawful authorities.

## Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to info@digitalbridge.ie.

## Client responsibility for content

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish through systems we build, including product claims, pricing, testimonials and any regulated wording. Where you operate in a regulated sector — financial services, health, legal, gambling, alcohol — you are responsible for confirming that your published material meets the requirements of the relevant Irish regulator before it goes live.

## Consumer law obligations on ecommerce builds

If we build a store for you, Irish and EU consumer law applies to how you sell through it. That includes clear pricing inclusive of VAT, a working returns process, and the fourteen-day cooling-off right for distance sales under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. We can build the mechanics; keeping the published terms accurate is the site owner's responsibility.

## Disclosure of AI-generated material

Where a system we build produces content or images automatically, that output must be labelled where labelling is required. The EU AI Act requires providers and deployers to disclose synthetic content and to make interactions with AI systems apparent to users. Passing off AI output as human-authored advice, reviews or endorsements is a breach of this policy as well as of consumer protection law.

## Suspension, appeal and reinstatement

Where a suspension is not urgent we give written notice, the specific reason and a reasonable window to fix the problem. You can appeal any suspension by email and we will review it within two business days. Services suspended for non-payment are reinstated once the account is settled; services suspended for unlawful content are reinstated only once the content is removed.

## FAQ

### How much does an AI integration project cost in Ireland?

Digital Bridge prices AI work in bands: an AI feasibility assessment from €5,000 (grant-eligible), a baseline production build from €15,000, multi-system agent workflows at €25,000–€60,000, and enterprise programmes from €40,000 to €100,000+. Small-business website builds start at €1,200. Every engagement is fixed-price against a signed scope.

### How long does a production AI build take?

A feasibility assessment runs three to five weeks. A baseline production build typically runs eight to twelve weeks from signed scope to go-live, including a seven-day shadow-mode pilot before the system takes live traffic. Multi-system programmes are sequenced into phases so value lands before the full programme completes.

### Can Irish grant funding cover this work?

Often, yes. Enterprise Ireland's Digital Discovery Grant funds up to 80% of an eligible feasibility assessment, and Digital Process Innovation funds up to 50% of eligible implementation costs. Local Enterprise Office schemes cover smaller digital projects. Eligibility is decided by the funder, never by us.

### Who owns the code and the prompts?

You do. Every engagement transfers full source-code and prompt ownership on final payment. Systems run on EU-hosted infrastructure with provider training disabled and a signed data processing agreement. There is no vendor lock-in and no proprietary runtime you have to keep paying us for.
