How an AI integration project runs with Digital Bridge

Every AI engagement starts with a paid discovery assessment rather than a proposal written from guesswork. During discovery we sit with the people who do the work, map the process end to end, list the systems that hold the data, and record where the delays and manual re-keying actually occur. The output is a written document: the processes worth automating, the ones that are not worth touching, the integration points, the data-quality risks, and a costed implementation plan. If the assessment concludes that automation would not repay itself, we say that in writing and you are free to stop there.

Implementation follows in fixed bands against a signed scope. A baseline production build covers one workflow, one integration surface and a monitored release. Multi-system agent workflows connect several line-of-business systems and add human review steps where a wrong answer would be expensive. Enterprise programmes run across departments and include change management, training and a support handover. Nothing is billed by the hour, and nothing is added to an invoice that was not agreed in writing first.

We build on the customer's own accounts wherever possible — their cloud tenancy, their model provider keys, their repositories — so the finished system is not hostage to our involvement. Documentation, credentials and a recorded walkthrough are part of every handover. Where a system makes decisions that affect people, we document what the model does, what data it sees, what it logs, and where a human sign-off sits in the chain, in line with EU AI Act transparency expectations.

The client base splits in two. Irish grant support for digital and AI projects

Several Irish supports can reduce the cost of this work, but eligibility is decided by the funding body and never by us. Digital for Business, delivered through the Local Enterprise Offices, is an advisory project that reviews existing systems and produces an implementation plan; completing it is a precondition for the Grow Digital voucher. Grow Digital then supports eligible small enterprises implementing qualifying off-the-shelf software, with approval required before any expenditure. Enterprise Ireland's digital discovery support can apply to feasibility work for eligible client companies.
