How a nationwide Irish build actually runs

We work from Gorey, Co. Wexford, and deliver across the island — Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster, including Northern Ireland. In practice that means a scoping call, a written scope and fixed price, a structure sketch, one design with a revision round, then build. Almost all of it happens over email and calls, with an on-site visit when photography or a stakeholder workshop justifies the travel. Two to four weeks is the normal range for a brochure or Growth build once your copy and images exist.

What the price ladder covers nationally

Brochure sites start at €1,200, Growth at a fixed quote, Authority at a fixed quote (up to a fixed quote where the scope is heavier) and ecommerce at a fixed quote. SEO retainers start at €650 per month, and AI systems work is quoted after a paid discovery assessment. Prices do not change by county — a Donegal build and a Dublin build of the same scope cost the same. Payment is 50% deposit and 50% on launch, or 40/30/30 on larger projects.

Regional differences that do change the work

Price does not vary by county, but strategy does. Dublin and Cork city categories are contested enough that a site alone rarely moves the needle without sustained SEO. In smaller towns a clean build plus a maintained Google Business Profile can produce enquiries within weeks. Businesses serving both sides of the border need to think about currency, phone format and whether they target Google in Ireland or the UK. We raise all three at scoping rather than after launch.

What a nationwide web design brief usually contains

Almost every enquiry we take from outside Leinster arrives with the same three problems: a site that nobody on the team can edit, no clear statement of the area served, and contact details that are hard to find on a phone. Those are solved before anything decorative. We list the services you actually sell, the towns you will travel to, and the one action a visitor should take, then design around that list. Everything else — animation, imagery, page count — is priced after that structure is agreed, which is why the written scope arrives before the invoice does.

Working with clients you never meet in person

Most Irish projects now run entirely remotely, and it works because the process is visible rather than because the client is trusting. You get a preview link from the first week, so the site can be reviewed on your own phone, on your own network, before launch. Feedback is collected in one pass per sprint instead of scattered emails. On-site visits happen when photography or a physical premises makes the trip worthwhile; they are never billed as a surcharge for being outside County Wexford.

What we will tell you not to buy

A five-page brochure site at a fixed quote is enough for a great many Irish trades, and we say so rather than pushing a fixed quote build. If your enquiries already come from word of mouth and a Google Business Profile, a rebuild will not change your phone volume — fixing the profile and the mobile speed usually will. E-commerce from €6,000 only makes sense when there is stock, delivery and someone to pack it. Being told the cheaper answer on the first call is the point of the call.
