Who is graphics & visual design for?

We work with owner-managed Irish businesses, professional practices and mid-market organisations. Graphics & Visual Design suits you if the current setup is costing you enquiries, staff hours or credibility — and if you would rather own the result outright than rent it from a platform. If a smaller piece of work would move the needle faster, we say so before quoting anything larger.

Which graphics & visual design package is right for you?

There are 3 options on this service, separated by scope rather than by quality of work. Logo & Essentials (€295 plus One-time), Full Brand Identity Kit (€795 plus One-time), Design Retainer (€189/mo). Each package page sets out precisely what is included, what is not, and how long delivery takes, so you can compare like with like before you speak to anyone.

  • Logo & Essentials — A professional, custom-designed logo plus the core files you need to start using it everywhere — built in days, not weeks.
  • Full Brand Identity Kit — A complete brand identity that makes your business look established, trustworthy, and instantly recognisable across every channel.
  • Design Retainer — An on-tap designer for businesses that need fresh graphics every week — social posts, ads, flyers, presentations — all on-brand, all delivered fast.

How does a graphics & visual design project run?

A short scoping call comes first, then a written scope with a fixed price, a staged build with weekly check-ins, and a handover where you receive the accounts, the assets and the source. Payment is 50% deposit and 50% on launch, or 40/30/30 on larger builds. Most work runs remotely, which keeps the cost down, and we travel to meet clients across Ireland where it genuinely helps.

What does graphics & visual design cost?

Published starting points: brochure websites from €1,200, the Growth package from €2,500, the Authority package from €4,250, ecommerce from €6,000, and SEO retainers from €650 per month. AI systems work is scoped separately, beginning with a paid feasibility assessment from €6,000 and implementation bands from €15,000. Figures are ex-VAT starting points confirmed in writing after scoping — never a moving hourly meter.

Do I need a logo and brand kit before building a website?

Yes — a coherent logo, colour palette, and typography pair make your website look intentional rather than templated. Digital Bridge offers a Starter brand kit from €1,200 that delivers logo, palette, fonts, and basic guidelines ready for web and print.

What happens if graphics & visual design does not suit us?

Then we tell you, and we do not take the project. We would rather turn down work than sell a business something it does not need. Where a different supplier or a cheaper in-house route is the honest answer, we say so on the scoping call. Nothing is invoiced before a written scope is signed, and the scope sets out exactly what is delivered, in what order, and by when.

Who does the work?

Joey Bray, founder and principal engineer at Digital Bridge, leads every engagement personally. You deal with the person building the thing, not an account manager relaying messages. Contact: 085 224 1848 · [email protected] · Gorey Business Park, Gorey, Co. Wexford.

Where design work pays for itself

Visual design earns its cost in three specific places: the first screen of the website, anything printed that a customer keeps, and the images that appear beside your business in search and social results. Spending outside those three is usually optional. We would rather do the three properly than produce a large brand package that mostly lives in a folder.

Logos, and being realistic about them

A logo matters less than most people expect and more than the cheapest option allows for. What it must do is be legible at small sizes, work in one colour, and not look like the free template three competitors also used. What it does not need to do is explain the business or win awards. We design to that standard and stop.

Consistency is the cheap win

Most small businesses lose more to inconsistency than to weak design: three different logo versions in circulation, a website palette that does not match the van, and photographs in four styles. Settling the basics — two typefaces, a small palette, one logo file set — costs little and makes everything produced afterwards look considered.

AI-generated imagery, disclosed

We use AI image tools for some illustrative and background imagery, and where we do we disclose it in line with EU transparency expectations. We do not use AI images to depict real clients, real staff, real premises or completed work — that would be a claim about reality rather than a decoration. Photography of your actual business remains worth paying for and we will say when it is the better spend.

Which of the three design services actually fits a business that has never had proper branding?

Logo & Essentials suits a business that needs one clean, custom logo and the files to use it everywhere, without a monthly commitment. The Full Brand Identity Kit is the right call once a logo alone will not do, because you also need consistent colours, fonts, business cards, social templates and letterheads so the business looks the same on a van, an invoice and an Instagram page. Design Retainer is for a business already trading and posting regularly that needs a steady stream of fresh, on-brand graphics for social, ads and flyers without hiring or briefing a designer every time. Most businesses start with one of the first two one-off projects and move to the retainer once regular content becomes a weekly need rather than an occasional one.

How many rounds of changes are included if the first version is not quite right?

The one-off logo and brand identity projects include revision rounds built into the price, so the first draft is a starting point for a conversation, not a final answer you either accept or pay again for. Feedback is taken in plain terms, such as which colours feel wrong or which version reads better on a sign, and turned into the next draft rather than requiring you to speak in design jargon. The Design Retainer works differently again, since it is an ongoing monthly allowance of graphics rather than a single project, so revisions are simply part of each month's normal turnaround. In every case the aim is a set of files you can hand to a printer or upload yourself without needing us again for basic use.

What kind of design work is covered, and what’s excluded?

Our graphic design service covers the visual materials businesses need day to day — social media graphics, brochures, flyers, business cards, signage artwork, email headers and general brand assets designed to look consistent across every touchpoint. We work from your existing brand where one exists, or help establish visual direction if you’re starting fresh, though full brand strategy work sits outside this service and is scoped separately if needed. Each project begins with a brief covering purpose, audience and any existing brand guidelines, followed by draft concepts and a set number of revision rounds agreed before work starts, so there’s no ambiguity about how many changes are included. Print-ready files are supplied in the correct format for your printer, and digital assets come sized correctly for their intended platform rather than a single generic export. What’s not included is ongoing design-on-demand without a retainer arrangement — one-off projects are priced individually. A common pitfall is providing vague direction like “make it pop”; the more specific your brief and reference examples, the faster and more accurate the first draft will be.

Who is this design service best suited to, and how long do projects take?

This service suits small and medium businesses needing professional, consistent visuals without hiring an in-house designer or juggling several freelancers for different jobs — a single point of contact who understands your brand across print and digital. Turnaround depends entirely on scope: a single social graphic might be ready within a couple of days, while a full set of brochure and signage artwork for an event takes longer once you account for revisions and print deadlines, so flagging hard dates at the outset matters. We ask clients to supply logos, existing brand colours and any mandatory content like legal wording upfront, since chasing missing assets mid-project is the most common cause of delay. If you don’t yet have a locked-in brand identity, we’ll flag that early, because designing individual pieces before the fundamentals are settled often means redoing work later. Files are handed over in editable and print-ready formats so you retain ownership and aren’t locked into using us for every future tweak, though we’re always happy to keep working together on new material as it comes up.
